When Life Closes Roads, Take Detours.

Probably every other customer or business we talk with says "I bet that bridge being out isn't going well for you." Aaaannnnd no, it hasn't.

We have had to try new tactics, sales, and now going to farmers markets 2 miles away from our store just to make sure we keep up the Joneses and let others know that we still exist! And you may think, "Well it's only for a few months, it couldn't be that damaging, could it?"

A resounding YES to the peanut gallery up top...respectfully!

With the sales we do have from our amazing customer base, we have been able to keep afloat, but still treading the choppy waters. We've also not been able to do one of our biggest missions as a business and help other ministries, foundations, and causes as much. Because if your cup is empty, if your giving tree has no more to give... you can only do so much with a scraggly smile of exhaustion and defeat. Saying this is no way a form of us complaining or writing a sob story about our troubles. It's just the honest truth, and the truth can feel uprooting and sketchy at times. How do you let your audience know you're treading, without making your audience "feel bad "about it? It's a catch-22 situation.

Please do not pity us,

OUR GOD IS AMAZING!

God has moved in so many ways. Words said, helping hands raised by other businesses, old customers and new have ALL been amazing! We have so much faith that this bridge being out may be the best thing to happen to us all year, we just can't see it yet. It's hard to see over the mountain from the bottom.

We are so blessed to have what we have and do what we do! We are so excited to keep climbing up to the top to see over. And we can't wait to get back to our regular scheduled programming.

We have new products, changes, and ways to buy from us all coming together and being pushed out as soon as possible. We can't wait to be able to do so much for Wells County and all of our customers in Indiana! Just bear with us and please keep supporting our endeavors!

What's new this month?

•The first week of June, we have a drop of SodaHouse dirty soda and Alani kits available while supplies last.

•We are now baking goods for the store and for the Farmers Market in small batches.

•Exclusive Farmers Market products and prices, coupons, and more as we continue to go. Our next market visit will be June 13th at the Family Farm and Home parking lot 9 am - 1pm. (We'll keep you up-to-date on FB)

•Garwood Farms in Roanoke who specialize in pasture raised only pork and chicken will have their products available in their own designated freezer!

We'd say more but then we may spoil something for later!
